People often ask us: “How hard is it to learn the pipes? I hear it takes years ….”
What it takes is practice and dedication ….
We have several parent/child combinations who are students — and two teenagers who are teaching everyone else!
New students learn:
- To read music
- To work together as a group — and have fun as a group
- To rely on each other in competition, on parade, and in good times and bad
- Rhythm, melody and harmony
- How much fun a pipe band can be!
