Get ready, Lake George, Hague and Glens Falls, we are headed your way this weekend! The Lake George Parade steps off at 11 on Saturday, the Hague Parade steps off at 2 pm Saturday, and the Glens Falls / Queensbury Parade steps off at 10 am on Monday. We look forward to seeing you there!
We had a great practice last night, preparing for our first (of three) competitions this season: Bonnie Brae in Liberty Corner, NJ. We are also preparing for our three-parade weekend for Memorial Day — in Lake George and Hague on Sat. May 28 and our hometown parade in Glens Falls on Mon, May 30.
In 2011, we are planning to go to the following three competitions: Bonnie Brae Games, Liberty Corner, NJ, June 4 Glasgowlands Scottish Festival, Northampton, MA, July 16 Capital District Scottish Games, Altamont, NY, Sep. 3 Stay tuned, there may be more!
For the first time, many members of Galloway Gaelic Pipes & Drums attended the Oran Mor Spring Training workshop in Saratoga Springs. What a great event!
